COVID UPDATE

No doubt these unprecedented times have caused uncertainty for the future and plans that have taken months, even years, in the making. As a picturesque, outdoor event space, Runnymede has an open air setting and room for distancing while safely holding your wedding or event.

Runnymede has persevered through war, fire and natural disasters. Let us overcome current event limitations to host your event and guests successfully and safely.

FAQs

Q: Have you been holding events during the pandemic?

A: Yes!  Runnymede remained open throughout.  Our large, 100% outdoor/ open air venue is the perfect space to allow for the proper social distancing as suggested by the CDC.

Q: What is your policy on canceling/postponing?

A: We allow our clients to postpone to an available date, within one calendar year for a minimal rebooking fee.  In the case of a cancellation, we will return any deposits paid when and if the date is rebooked.

Q: What is your capacity/ head count limitations?

A: As long as our existing tent remains open (not enclosed by tent walls), we are safely able to host large groups.  Head counts & required arrangements for groups will be discussed individually

Q: Are there special rates for smaller events?

A:  Yes!  We have been hosting quite a few elopements and intimate weddings over the course of the pandemic.  We offer reduced pricing for small events taking place on Mon-Thurs and for last minute weekends pending availability.  Rates are determined based on the overall scope of the event.

Q: What requirements/restrictions are needed with regard to COVID?

A: Our preferred bar service, Spike by Snyder, has implemented procedures and practices as suggested by DHEC and the CDC.  We require all other hired vendors, especially caterers, to follow the same practices.  We also suggest setting the layout to allow for social distancing guidelines to easily be followed, and require restroom attendants be hired to santize the restrooms throughout the event.
